WoW Horde Vs Alliance

WoW Horde Vs AllianceIn World of Warcraft there are two factions that are available for players to play. There is the Alliance side and the Horde side. Often there are many people that associate the Horde with the “bad guys” and the Alliance with the “good guys.” Neither is honestly correct, in previous versions of the game that was a more correct assessment but after several of the previous games that built the world, both sides are just factions now.

If you need an in game addon leveling guide for both Horde and Alliance you can do so by visiting: Ultimate WoW Guide

Each side currently has five races per side to play. On the Alliance side there are the Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Night Elves, and Draenei and on the Horde side there are the Orcs, Trolls, Taurens, Undead known as Forsaken, and Blood Elves. Each race has different abilities specific to their race.

Within World of Warcraft, the most populated faction is currently the Alliance on most realms. This is helpful for new players since there will probably be a lot of newcomers on the Alliance side. There are also newcomers on the Horde side as well but there are just more people on the Alliance side. If a player is looking for less population the Horde side is also a good place to start. Deciding what type of class the player would like to play will help decide the race of the character. Once the race has been choosen, that will put the character into their correct faction.

There are also the types of character that each race can play. The available classes to play are as follow:

Death Knights are a new class that are combat based with some spell casting ability and every race can play this class as long as the player has a level 55 character already created.

Druids are healers and spell casters but also have the ability to shape shift and only Night Elves and Taurens can play this class.

Hunters along with their pets are good for solo working and doing distance damage and only Blood Elves, Draenei, Dwarves, Night Elves, Orcs, Taurens, and Trolls can play this class.

Mages cast spells in fire, ice or arcane which are great for doing a lot of damage from a distance and only Blood Elves, Draenei, Gnomes, Humans, Trolls, and Undead can play this class.

Paladins are a hybrid that can heal but also are more melee orientated and only Blood Elves, Draenei, Dwarves, and Humans can play this class.

Priests are the best healers and have decent spell casting abilities, also this class is very popular since most groups want to have a healer within their group and only Blood Elves, Draenei, Dwarves, Humans, Night Elves, Trolls, and Undead can play this class.

Rogues are a melee and distance experts that also have the ability to open lock boxes and only Blood Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Orcs, Trolls, and Undead can play this class.

Shamans are another hybrid class that are more spell casters than melee combatants and only Draenei, Orcs, Taurens, and Trolls can play this class.

Warlocks have pet demons that can deal and take damage along with spell casting abilities and only Blood Elves, Gnomes, Humans, Orcs, and Undead can play this class.

Warriors are the best at taking damage and can deal a great deal of damage as well and only Draenei, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Orcs, Taurens, Trolls, and Undead can play this class.
